Christmas Peppers 

Amidst a culinary pop culture of Top, Chopped, and Iron “cheftestants”, there are those who cook for vanity and those who cook for love. Lou Palma cooks for love.

I suspect I wouldn’t be alone in calling Lou one of my favorite people. He shares what he loves – his food – and often disseminates his delicacies to the homes of friends and neighbors and with his food spreads his passion, enthusiasm and tradition.

Alma's Baked Brie

1 four inch round brie
1/3 cup apple cider reduction (recipe below) or fig spread
1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (if using fig spread, use just one tsp mustard)
1/4 cup chopped nuts -pecans, hazelnuts, walnuts

Bacon and Cheese Buttery Bites
