I had the pleasure of dining at Zod Arifai's newest culinary venture, daryl.  What a delicious evening it was!  daryl, is a sleek, sexy restaurant, located in The Heldrich Hotel, in New Brunswick, is the perfect spot for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner.

 Zod Arifai has crafted a luxurious four-course prixe-fixe menu for Valentine's Day, featuring new dishes and favorites from Blu in Montclair. For starters, choose from East Coast Oysters, Red Wine Risotto w/Wild Mushrooms, Seafood Salad, Beet-Goat Cheese Salad. Second Course: Linguini w/Seafood, Mahi w/Forbidden Black Rice, and more.  Third:  Filet Mignon w/Wild Mushrooms, Duck Breast w/Braised Red Cabbage, Veal Skirt w/Cauliflower.  Dessert options?  Zod's unique take on Creme Brulee, Mocha Mousse, Coconut Sorbet, or Chocolate Cake.
